Summary: For over one hundred harrowing days, one man was the conscience of a world that turned its back on the slaughter of 800,000 human beings. That man was Rom©Øeo Dallaire, commander of the small U.N. peacekeeping force stationed in Rwanda during the 1994 genocide. This film movingly documents his return to Rwanda for the 10th anniversary of the genocide, reliving the political and psychological drama in unforgettable detail.
